Almost solved a mystery for me there. I have an RAF eagle with two threaded lugs on the rear and wondered what it was for but from the arrangement of securing your badge to this cap i can see how it works now. Only one small problem my bird looks the other way to yours, any suggestions? I had considered a cast copy but the threads are to good for this, is the badge on your cap solid or hollow at the rear?
