    Hi!

I hope it's all right to put this question in this place.

I'm looking to buy this beret, but I'm not sure if it's genuine thing from WW2, You can't see nothing inside it really and the strings does looks different than the ones in this thread:

    https://www.warrelics.eu/forum/cloth...-beret-7069-2/

Seller says you can barely see any printings inside, he says there is an arrow and probably "06" below, hope it's not a production date

Few pictures of this beret below.

Thanks for ANY suggestions and advice.

I don't like the vinyl Naugahide or plastic strip attached to the vents.
Why no photo(s) of the 'barely readable' lettering ?
    Regards,

    Steve.

There's something about it that doesn't look right. The color seems off (though this could just be the picture), and the black leather trim on the bottom looks in too good of condition. A lot of times, people just attach old pins to newer caps. I'd be leery of it.

It's a fake beret with a fake cap badge. Don't buy it unless it is cheap and you're desperate.

im almost sure that that badge is real the detail is not faded and their is no blob on the left wing. and the beret the leather doesn't tent to get that damaged it could be 1950's but i could be wrong.

I see this old thread has been brought back up.

Luc is correct about this item. Fake all the way.

    Cheers, Ade.
