Hey everyone, any ideas what this hat is? I only have one picture, it is at a friends store and he sent me the pic. He has no idea, he is not into Militaria. Any help would be gret as to what it is and a time period for it, ww2 he hopes. Thanks !

Not so sure it is actually Salvation Army as they tended to use black and red colours, but may be a regional variation or some Christian school bandsman's hat.
