Hey guys, I've had this cap in the closet for quite a while and finally decided to post it. Picked it up at an antique shop for $25 here in Texas. I'm hoping to get a ballpark idea of what era its from as I know nothing about these. Vietnam era? More modern? Any other info is also welcome guys. Thanks so much as always.

I would say 50's, 60's era, rank is junior officer, 2/lieut, through captain.
I have one for a senior officer, but the cheap chinstrap broke in numerous places; first time I ever had that happen on a US cap.

Good to know. First one I've ever purchased.

This is an enlisted ranks cap; I would say 50's or 60's.
I have never seen a US cap's peak crack like that. Even my M1902 Cavalry dress visor cap looks much better.
