    This is from 'Royal Navy Uniforms 1930-1945' Brayley M, Crowood Press, 2014, page 50. The book is very well researched and quotes extensively from service regulations.

    I posted this senior ranks cap of mine on the WAF, thinking the subject cap here had an untrimmed badge. I guess I was incorrect.
    My cap was also made by Gieves.
