Default WW2 Royal Observer Corps Officers cap

Evening gents, at last I have an Officers cap to the Royal Observer Corps. It is a Moss Bros made cap with the usual wartime traits of a green under peak, quilted padded lining and no "piping" to the top edge.
EDIT; Forgot to add It came badge and band less, so I replaced the band and added one of my original Officers cap badges. Leon.

    Hi Leon.

A dumb question, but what is the difference between this and a RAF cap?
    Regards,

    Jerry

Morning Jerry, there is absolutely no difference Mate except for the cap badge! The Observer Corps uniforms were all identical to RAF issue except for the insignia and buttons (and internal labels stating ROC instead of RAF) . Leon.

A very nice looking cap, and the first one I've ever seen.

Here's an image from one of my out of print history's of an Observer Commander ( equivalent to a Wing commander) in his "pomp"! Leon.
