Gentlemen, get rid of the ugly repro German Cross ! add the correct insignia (cheaply found on E-Bay) and you have a nice early (pre 1970) Bundeswehr Heer Panzer OR's walking out visor cap, now rare in its own right !
    Prost ! Steve.

As stated that is a early Bund (W German) hat in panzer piping getting hard to find in their own right. Agree proper insignia would make it. timothy

The seller is positive it is WW2 (except badge) as the person he bought it from said he brought it back in '45 - how many times have we heard that before?? I would be open to negotiate on it as a post war hat, but not with a TR price tag.
    Cheers,
    Al
