Artillery EM/NCO Visor.

The latest addition to my limited collection of head gear.
An unmarked, and likely private purchase, visor for an Artillery EM or NCO.
My collecting focus is items that could or would have been worn or earned by family members during the war. As I have quite a few family photos of members in uniform, it does allow a little leeway in what I allow myself to purchase.
My Opa was a surveyor for the Artillery and I have a few photos of him in uniform but none wearing a visor.
I have been on the lookout for one of these for a while and this one popped up recently for sale.
As it turns out, I could have driven 3 hours to go and look at it, which is a bit unusual.

It's a nice one for sure and if you got it for a "nice" price all the better!
I'm casually looking for a contract example as I sold mine years ago and just kept my private purchase one.

I only have one other Arty visor, an Officer's cap. It also has that perfect "shape", but in another way.

I bought this one a number of years ago. It is a little rough around the edges, but not bad.
I have been looking for an EM example for a while.
