    Default Authentic Heer Officers Bergmütze?

    Hi all,

This turned up in the local militaria shop a few days ago. I have never had or even handled one before so know little in regards to checking for originality. Hoping the more experienced members on here can help me out.

Sorry about the pictures. They are all I have available. Hopefully they can tell enough of a story.

    Thanks in advance,

    Looks good.

If the price is in Aussie $, to me, that sounds about right. These are not cheap items. Works out at £775 for me.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Thanks guys.

Yeah Ade that's Aussie dollars so it equates to about $US 1100 at the moment and heading south in a real hurry. Makes purchasing all the good stuff in the U.S and Europe all that little bit harder.

    Cheers,

Spot on wizardman!!! That one is down at Gary's shop.

It is no longer for sale if you know what I mean.........I couldn't resist. I have a nice Gebirgsjager officer tunic it will display nicely with.

    Congrats on the purchase.
Still too rich for my meager income, I'm satisfied with being an armchair collector these days.

    Cheers, Dan

Seems a sensible price for an officers Bergmutze IMFO.
