not sure why it happened, after the the words verkaufs abt. der (should be just an L and a W) however when i put the L and W together is comes out luftwaffe????????????????

Cap shown seems to be a Heer cap.

Details of the maker that Dave suggested would make it a Luftwaffe cap;

and if it has Carl Halfar under that, it's a post war cap.

A bit of research turned up your logo.
It's one of those generic German ones so we can't be sure who made it.

Good work! Thanks Ben. You're correct it's a Heer Signals NCO cap.
Is the faux crocodile skin sweatband commonly seen or not? I know I don't look at as many visors as some here but I can't remember seeing it before.
