Hi, I think Steve is correct and the cap is indeed "OT".

I agree with my Estonian colleague. The Organisation Todt was not a branch or off shoot of the NSDAP.

Bob Coleman is also expert in this material.

The cap is also worth way more than 40 Euros, especially in Austria.

    Hi !

Thx. a lot for your help, mates !

Other collector´s also told me, that it´s highly probable that this is a cap of the "SA-Wehrmannschaften".

I bought this cap at a little flea-marked a couple of day´s ago, because the dealer offered me, (beside this particular cap), three other´s more.
Among them a very neat cap of the Austrian "Heimwehr-Styria" !
So, I bought all four caps all at once ...

I only identified the "Heimwehr"-cap and one of the other three ...

Till now I din´t had a clue, wich cap this "Brownie" could be ...

I also do not have a clue ´bout the value of this cap.
I´m not collecting caps or uniforms and I´m not a dealer, I always prefer to swap !

    Cheers,

    R.
