This is a Clemens Wagner made cap
I do not make images that tend to damage sensitive organic materials.
Note that certain Wagner caps were contracted out to artisan cooperatives in periods of high demand.
There is almost nothing, that has not yet been treated here... :

We are blessed with Wolfgang's wisdom and energy.
As for myself, I own several Wagner caps, and I cannot discern that they are identical to one another in all respects at all places and times....
The firm was known for its size and productivity and so forth.
Do yourself a favor, and regard much on line cap savants with the healthy skepticism they deserve.
Wolfgang, however, is a real scholar/practitioner.
Here is a Wagner cap ca. 1935, not of the army, but in an even more rare variant.
