Hey i have a fake German fire police hat and i want to make it a crusher cap how do i do this thanks?

Inside the crown you will find a cap spring (a metal wire) take this out and then shape the cap by hand. You can carefully use steam from a kettle.

Thanks I removed the spring and did some shspeing last night

once the cloth is a little wet from the steam you can always tie a piece of string round the cap or use an elastic band too help shape the material.

leave it overnight but don't tie it too tight or it may crack the pasteboard on the cap band.
