I've been after this beret for a while now, and I'm delighted to finally get my hands on it. Female Reichpostal workers beret for clerk/delivery roles. Navy blue wool construction, with a single piece, circular crown. The forward edge of the crown is trimmed in bright, orange wool piping. The front center of the beret has a machine woven national eagle machine stitched to the cap. Marker and size marked 54. The alkor sweatband is present, but sections of it are mow missing. I really do like this beret and it's in a fine condition and rarely seen. Can you imagine the bad news that was delivered to so many families, by helferin wearing these berets? I bet they dreaded seeing them walking up to the door, letter in hand. Bottom picture shows the Reichspost beret and M43 cap together.

Another fantastic score! Most people do not understand just how rare these are--they are much rarer than Panzer berets. Here is one in wear:

Cheers mate, yes it's lovely beret in super condition, just glad to finally get one. I really like the DRP caps, and hopefully I can get a couple more..
