    Strictly speaking, this one is more about the uniform, although the Japanese Observer is wearing a very nice visor cap.

    Anyone seen this japanese sleeveshield on a uniform or loose in a collection??

    This must be one of the exotic pieces i know of
    Collect ROA, Cossack, Schuma and other WW2 Volunteer militaria.

    I don't think any of the Japanese uniforms or insignia have survived? I have certainly never seen or heard of them in anyone's collection, be it private or museum.
    Had good advice? Saved money? Why not become a Gold Club Member, just hit the green "Join WRF Club" tab at the top of the page and help support the forum!

    The photo shows the Estonian Knight's Cross winner Harald Riipalu.

    His cap skull and the runes and rank pips on his collar patches have been airbrushed/photoshopped out.

    (Just do a Google image search for his name and you'll find the uncensored photo.)
