What is so uncommon here? According to the LW regulation L.Dv.422 from April 1, 1937
he should wear a metal eagle.
Embroidered eagle versions are not even mentioned and so are non-standard.
This is different when it is related to the winged wreath. Embroidered versions were allowed.
So, one can see the combination: metal eagle; embroidered winged wreath.

Not unusual, but rare for the fact that Goering is wearing a Police General's uniform:
It was posted a few months back, but I'd like to get back to the image in post # 136 showing Göring and Daluege in Police generals' uniforms. I recently found a statement from Göring on this matter which I felt might be of interest here:

"In order to also visibly express my close bonds with the Prussian Schutzpolizei, I, as the Commander-in-Chief of the Prussian Police, have decided to put on the uniform of a General der Landespolizei, thus following the request put before me by the enlisted men and the officer corps of the Prussian Schutzpolizei.

Accommodating another wish by the enlisted men and the officer corps of the Schutzpolizei, I have appointed the head of the Police Department in the Prussian Ministry of the Interior, the Staatsrat, Ministerialdirektor and SS-Gruppenführer Daluege as a General der Landespolizei and Commander of the Police in Prussia on the day of the opening of the Prussian Staatsrat in recognition of his outstanding achievements in the buildup of the Police.

    [...]"

Source: Announcement by Göring in the Prussian Ministerialblatt of 13 Sept. 1933 (as quoted in Wolfgang Edler von Zander's "Das SA-Feldjägerkorps. Eine vergessene Einheit der Geschichte" (pg. 224), translated by me).

When you enlarge the pic, it looks like he wears a Heer style sleeve eagle too.

    Cheers, Ade.

Interesting to see SS-Hauptsturmführer Schreiber only wearing ek1 on left pocket, no other medals, no ribbons in the buttonhole.
I would believe he have earned some more medals/decorations since he has some impressive high decorations.

Looks like he were a minimalist

Edit: I see there are empty loops under the ek1, so he was an minimalist.
