Erel Medical Alte Art- Felt wreath

Just picked up this nice crusher. My first with this type of felt wreath. The size of this crusher is hugh; size 60-61 I'd guess.

Nice early example, congrats.

On the subject of pasteboard, a friend of mine has a early Heer Generals visor cap that he's selling. I noticed that it had untreated cardboard as the band body, when I saw that I was in doubt of the whole cap although the rest of the cap looked original. Was untreated cardboard used?

I believe it was but you have to be careful with such examples. They could have been altered post war for numerous reasons.

Would have loved to score this one myself Erich! I'd say this one was probably used for NCOs as the wreath is white cotton thread. These are impossible to find.

I was actually leaning towards it being an NCO's cap myself for that reason Kurt. Glad you like it.
