Wow--I have never seen that logo in all my years of collecting--very crude.

You have sir. I just did a search because I was leery of the sweat shield but wanted to see if good examples were out there. This exact hat was reviewed on WAF five years ago and you didn't like it then.

This thread on WAF has "under the hood" photos. The type of which are lacking on the seller's site for some reason...

TWS - congratulations! Mystery solved!

Just had a look - lukily the pictures are also visible for non-members. There were lots of repairs done on this cap and, as it seems, the whole lining was replaced.

Thanks! You look at a lot of caps to put it lightly I'm sure. These days, I can barely remember last month. Good thing I decided to do a deeper dive because the photos on WAF are telling.
