Most grey SS peaked caps, especially with "colored pipes" you might find,
are real junk. But this one looks alright. I have not examined this myself.
The cap with the marked peak was indeed real. I have a couple so marked.
These enlisted qua NCO caps are very rare.

I have one already, which is in the Beaver book, but this one is in good shape and seems integral.
There is also one of these for sale from a collector on the other site, whence I found these images, I must confess.
This cap sold for Euros 5000 in the beauty of the Alps.
