    I discovered that the current eagle was put on as a replacement of the original sewn in type.
    Looking for following WWII German items:
    - anything dealing with Allenstein (Olsztyn) and Wehrkreis I in East Prussia,
    - entrenching tool carrier (straight and folding),
    - forestry and hunting items,

    Are there stitch marks? I can't see any.

    There are some tiny holes from the thread and under the eagle the was a trace of black thread.

    It was likely denazified. Very common thing.
