Default Green canvas 1st Pattern Heer tropenhelm

I took some new pics of this before I sell it and thought I would post them here for old times sake. It will take two posts to get them all up so please wait until then if anyone has a comment to make.

It is maker marked ITA in a circle and is dated 1942 and size 57. It also has the owners name on the SB which has been crossed out but is still mostly legible as Neumann R?

Thanks Michael. I was offered a sensible price for it about a year back and I know you don't see the green 1st patterns for sale often so I expect it will go quite quickly, unless things have changed a lot since then.

Correct, this should go in a heartbeat IMHO. I have the felt version and have been keeping an eye out for a nice priced one of these 1st patterns over in the US of A. Typically I see heavily damaged ones.....
