    Obviously the stitching for holding the side liner is terrible and the folds must have been done by a drunk guy.

    It is called plessier, I think, and pertains to the curtain like folds to the lining.

    The contrast in this case is specially noticeable because this new cap of mine is missing the sweat band, and the plessier in it is very nice.

    The pictures of the fake cap were more or less aligned with the pictures of the cap I just got, ergo my expostulation.

    The comparison of the fake to the real is not exactly my act, mind you.

    My focus is on the real thing.

    The cap cover of the cap I just snagged is an especially nice Trikotage, which is not very faded and has a couple of holes, but better than most.
