Default Heer Cavalry Officer's visor cap

I just acquired this nice doeskin cavalry officer's dress cap, made by BAMUFA, and sold through a distributor in Bamberg.
Bamberg was one of the garrisons for Reiter Regiment 17, so perhaps the original owner served in that unit.
Claus von Stauffenberg served in this regiment early in his career.
    Apologies for my poor photos.

    Thumbs up

That is the highest-quality BAMUFA I have seen. I agree, no doubt he was assigned to #17--too bad it is not named.
    Sweet pick-up....

Thanks much; the sweatband shows evidence that two of those common initial discs were once attached, but now gone.
I purchased the cap from George Petersen, at the SOS.
