Congrats Tony, that's a great cap. Hard to tell when the trap was applied but that's no big deal. Any stamps on the lining?
cheers Ben,
The trap I think is re-applied, done well but the wear and tear of the cap doesn't match it's stiching.
No stamps in the liner to see and no trace of there having ever been any.

The trap looks replaced but the M43 looks perfectly OK from where I sit!
Cheers
Stitching and material patterns look correct. nice!
I've taken a good look to the pictures a few minutes ago...and the definitely look better on my desktop than on my phone...the trap is hand stitched but that shouldn't be considered a 100% red flag by any means, even if a machuine-stitched one would be more desireable. There's obviously a darker area showing aklong the sides of the trap and the latter doesn't look too new and blends perfectly with the M43 itself...IMHO it's either a well made put-together (not to deceive but to be as correct looking as possible) or an original, untouched item!
Cheers
