Very nice. An honest piece with character and saddle shape.

Lovely Pekuro Dave, an absolutely classic shape for one of these.

For those interested in a cap of the infantry, but of the transition from the Reichswehr of the Weimar Republic to the Wehrmacht, here is a piece for sale of exceptional rarity and great attractiveness. It is for sale with Grenadier Militaria. This piece is much rarer and more interesting than the unworn Lubstein cap with marks and foil tags which is all the rage elsewhere. The early Offizierskleiderkasse mark is also much more refined and interesting than the variety one sees in hundreds of other caps at a time when the armed forces were much larger than in say 1932 when this cap was perhaps made and then nazified in 1933/4.
