    When you say 'reverse twist' does that mean the cord threads are angled from right to left?

    Left to right, they were used on postwar East German caps, wartime examples are not seen on caps too often. The wartime made cords have
    a metal slide inside the knot, the postwar examples used plastic. (other than that, they look the same).
