This nicely worn visor (is there a 50 mission look for infantry?) started life as a standard issued other ranks visor as denoted by the orange liner.
At some point the NCO became an officer and upgraded his hat. It's a pretty large size 59 and fits my noggin quite comfortably. No doubt this was a favored work-a-day cap - comfortable like an old pair of jeans.

Ok bad joke, seriously I love the kind of caps that tell a story. That one certainly has that "look" about it, if only it could speak, what stories it could tell. VERY nice original inf cap. Thanks for sharing that one with us
