Sorry I don't like the cap from the photos shown. When buying one of these caps you need photos of the underside of the flaps. From what I can see here, it lacks certain details like the reinforcement bias and pull down straps. The dealer specialises in daggers.

Not a cap I would feel comfortable with. The material is very unusual for an M43 plus the insignia is questionable to say the least.

This Panzer Cap is of all black wool. It is in excellent condition throughout having the ear flaps which are held together by two pebbled buttons having black surfaces. There is an enlisted man’s triangular insignia at the peak of the cap. It is sewn in place and does show some age. The insignia consists of an open-winged army eagle with swastika positioned over a red, white and black cockade. The inner liner of this cap is a silk material. It is stamped with an ink size but I can’t make out what the size would be. These caps are highly desirable.

The cap is advertised with a very well known and respected dealer across the pond. Rare for him to get it wrong (just google the description )

But stranger things have been known to happen. although i would be surprised if it was wrong

Bearing in mind the way it has been photographed (against a green background) That would certainly cast a wrong colour.
