    Looks like a dandy lid to me! It even, somehow, managed to avoid the ever present dented in dome on the top. Nice find!

    Its the less desirable second pattern felt pith, but its still in great condition. I think a heer pith is a staple and a must have for any collection.

    A fine example. I have not seen one with the eagle ink stamp in it previously.
