Interesting. The black visor underside is definitely late war. The ersatz sweatband, although unworn, looks like some I have in a couple late caps and the sweatshield looks legit. If stonemint thinks it is good, then that's a key vote.

Looks like I was too severe with his cap.....
My friend was dissapointed when I said to him it was not a good one and thus decided to purchase another one to a famous dealer.
He asked to help him to sell it, So i will very likely put it for sale on the forum.

Fair comment, happy to go with Stoney's call. Personally I don't like the late war caps and have always avoided them, that's just my personal collecting taste though. Always happy to be corrected. cheers Tony
