Help on 2 SS Shirmmutz

Hi all...a friend of mine needs an help
He has a wonderful uniform SS-VT gabardine uniform dated 1934 and he would like to complete it with a schirmmutz. Now he has the chance to choose between 2 caps but he would like to know if theay are both original and which one would fit better with the uniform

Those are 2 different caps in rank.
The first is for a regular SS Officer (white wool piping).
The second is for a General (silver bullion piping).

From your photos, the 1st visor looks OK (#143--August Muller). However, I would expect it to have the 2nd type eagle given the tag, but it is possible it is original to the hat.

Regarding the 2nd one (the General visor), it is questionable at best.

Friedrich-Berthold studies these closer than I do, and will hopefully see this thread and chime in.
