Hermann Göring Division EM/NCO Visor
A friend of mine just recently scored this, and I hat the pleasure to inspect it.
It is an early-war private-purchase visor by Heinrich Balke.
The hat is standard Balke construction, with the exception of the extra-cost leather visor.
Many would call this a "crusher", but the LW did not authorize an "alter-art" as they did for the Heer.
(Further, it has standard treated pasteboard, a chinstrap, and a celluloid sweatdiamond, all of which takes it out of the realm of even potentially being a "crusher.")

Only remnants of the sweatdiamond are left.
This is the wartime logo of Balke, and they were one of the very few to use colored inks.
Their stirndruckfrei system is known for matching the body of the hat.
Note the leather visor is fluted--more common for the Imperial/Weimar era, but uncommon for the TR:
Killer cap. I love HG things.
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

What a unique example of a Luftwaffe visor. To top it off, this cap is white piped for HG, your friend is a very fortunate man,
and your photos are top notch too. The cap is a classic !
Has such a beautiful shape. Wonderful cap......... !
