Exploring the Internet, I found Erel Kavallerie visor cap, with a similar material type insignia.
Am I right, or am I something wrong misunderstood?
(What puzzles me - is the post number 16, which states that is insignia are post-war production.)

Nothing wrong with the cap or the material. I have similar erel caps made from the tricot material and the comment on #16 is suggesting the eagle is a copy.

This is possible but would need to look at the inside pins to be sure. the wreath and vented cockade look ok to me.....

The Kavallerie cap looks like its sunning itself on Kurts balcony..........
