I really don't consider this humorous, but I am amazed that not only was he allowed to become a party member, but a Political Leader as well:
Weird- Why wasnt he killed? I have been told all such unfortunate "different" humans were placed in KL camps. He must have had rich family to not be removed as unwanted.

Very very interesting photo, thank you for showing this.

The dwarf: It looks weird, especially while he has the SA type of hospital orderly patch upon the
left upper arm. This was NOT an insignia to be worn within the range of political leader's. Maybe
    this guy had a hunchback.
And Trondk why wasn't Goebbels "unwanted" with his chub foot?

In some ways the nazis were "flexible". Within the HJ-organization existed special units for blind
(Blind/Sehschwache), those that could not hear (Gehörlose/Schwerhörige), but for disabled
(Körperbehinderte) as well. They even had a special indication upon their shoulder-straps
    (a letter B, G or K)!

One of the most ironic photographs from the pre-war era:

"Foreign attaches observe New England war games Redford, N.Y. - Left to right during the U.S. Army war maneuvers and sham-battle invasion of New England by a mythical "enemy" are Col. T[akatoshi] Nakamura, Japanese Military Attache, Brig. General Walter C. Short, Commander of the 1st Deivision [i.e. Division] Blue Army, and Lieut. General Friederich von Boetticher, German Military Attache, pictured as they watch the maneuvers."

Don't know if anyone caught the irony of the above photo--General Short was the US Army General responsible for the defense of US military installations at Pearl Harbor when the Japanese attacked on 12-7-41 (he was the one who ordered all of the USAAC planes lined up out in the open to protect against Japanese sabotage).
