Looks good to me. Very nice condition and beautiful stamps.

That is in excellent condition.
So that I learn something today.
What do the larger numbered ink stamps on the underside of the sweatband mean/stand for? e.g. 48 , 'F,39

Good hat. CW was just the sweatband supplier (they even supplied Erel with sweatbands on their late-war caps).

But did CW produce the sweatband? Or just supply it as a middleman?
If they are the maker of the sweatband, then what does the stamp on the left stand for? The visor maker? (It does say mützenmacher). I just can make out the name above mützenmacher....
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated

Don't know for sure if they cut the sweatband, or they were leftover CW stock.
The Muetzenmacher is actually a consortium of hat makers, called a Lago (see the Wilkins book for more info).

Will do. Thanks
So the Muetzenmacher consortium IS the manufacturer of the visor. Correct?
Just trying to get it right. Thanks

But surprises me how much the visor caps made by this consortium have a very similar appearance among they. Until now I had think they were really made by Clemens Wagner.
