    Default KM issued m1928

The first sun helmet I bought many years back, a KM used Italian m1928 2nd model. It has the variant shields thought to be either theater made examples or very early German versions, though I tend to favor the former with them being most likely Italian made but French made is another possibility. Most of these you see came out of a hoard on the Island of Capri and are unissued, but all have the correct issue stamp inside them, though this example has seen some use. Any of these Italian conversions without the stamp would be uncertain as to when the conversion was done.

    Jerry,

Nice one! Tell's a great story and a great look!

I really like these types of shields vs the typical DAK versions.

Thanks Michael. The tri colour in particular is a very pleasing version.
