Late war SS trapezoid (fake or real)

Hi fellow collectors, I mentioned helping someone out on identifying this late war trapezoid. He would really appreciate finely getting a 100 percent answer on if this is original or reproduction. I honestly haven't studied these "Dachau" workshop trapezoid yet. It would help me as well to start looking into the history of these and what to look for. I honestly feel it a reproduction because it doesn't fit the one example in my books. Tho I am not sure if there was other examples of the "Dachau" that look like this. Was there only one style?

P.S. I truly respect the vast knowledge when it comes to examining and finding out the true story on all Third Reich pieces.
