Legit Visor Caps on Ebay

I get questions all the time about visors on Ebay and whether they are real or not.
90% of the hats for sale on Ebay are either outright fakes or have been screwed with in some way, manner, shape or form.

So, to try and focus on the positive, there are some originals on Ebay that are legit.

However, they usually suffer from condition issues or are overpriced (and in most cases, both).

What I want to try and do is post hats that look good, with the caveat that w/o additional photos or an in-hand inspection, there is no guarantee of 100% originality. (My advice would be that, if you do bid, make sure the seller has an inspection period so you can return it if bad.)

This one I was just asked about. It is being sold as Feuerschutzpolizei, but it might be Gempo (if he did not use a flash we could make a better determination).

Based on past e bay performance I doubt if this thread is going to be a very long one !

Good idea though.

I would not advise anyone to buy off e bay unless you really know your onions....or check here first so we can all bid as well (lol)...............
