I just bought this M43 from my Uncle today. He sold it to me for $100. good deal I think even though its missing the trap.

Yeah, He was telling me about being a HJ in Berlin during the end of the war. He was sixteen and shooting T34's with Panzerfausts! He said when the "red Beast" got closer he swam across the Elbe river to get to 'west Germany" Where the western allies were.He did NOT want to be caught by the Russians! He really hates them. His daughter married my Uncle Alex who is Lithuanian.His Grandpa(my Great Grandpa) Boris was an SS volunteer there fighting the communists.
