Default Luftwaffe EM/NCO flight piped visor cap

    Hello all,

I picked this one up at auction and the lack of markings on the interior and lack of sweatband have me feeling a bit uncomfortable. I didn't pay a fortune for it but if something is wrong with this one, can anyone please point it out?

    Hi William,

you mean the sweatSHIELD is missing, isn't it? There is an Ersatzstoff-sweatBAND and the cap is O.K. IMHO, congrats!

Hat is fine. Not all hats have makers marks.
I would not pull the sweatband down--it will probably tear.

Late to the party and already commented on by those with more experience but it looks perfectly fine to me as well.
