Luftwaffe Feldgendarmerie Visor Cap piping colour ?
A question for the Luftwaffe collectors- what colour of Waffenfarbe piping would be used on visor caps worn by members of the Luftwaffe's Feldgendarmerie ?
In the early part of the war, Feldgendarmerie Waffenfarbe was light blue as per these straps as they were considered part of the Nachschub element. In June 1943, the colour was changed to Orangerot, same as the Heer and Waffen-SS. Anyone ever seen a 100% genuine visor cap with either of these colours ?
