Nice visor for a Luftwaffe Flak NCO, zinc eagle has lost most of its wash and the cockade looks fine. Very nice early green color under the visor, similar to the cap i own.
Not really that rare but still a very collectible item.

Thank you for you swift reply. Does the zinc eagle imply late war?
This is an earlier cap but with a closer look it could be an aluminum Lutftwaffe eagle which has lost its silver coating. You would have to ask someone other then me to be 100 percent, but it is still very much the real deal.

its fine example.
Nice looking cap. The second pattern eagle came out in 1938 but the eagle could have been a replacement for a first pattern. Look for a second set of holes.
Cap was made by Schellenberg, and would date to the 1939-42 era.
Eagle, while real, is not contemporary to the cap (it should have an aluminum one).

Many thanks for all your replies. Always good to get more information about an item.
