Article about: Does anyone know much about this maker? Im trying to get my head around the Germanic lettering

    I would say they were a tailoring house, and retailed visors for makers.
    There was a LW airfield in Kitzingen, btw.

    Someone else also raised this point to me in a pm. Erwesa does have a point--the trim should be lacquered oilcloth and have a weave pattern. This one appears to be plastic.
    I would recommend snipping a part of the exceess trim and lighting it--if it melts, it is plastic, if it crumbles to ash, it is celluloid.

    I tried that Stonemint it disintegrated ..it didnt melt
