Default LW officer hat - need advice for finding name

I have just acquired this LW hat and would like to know if it is named. There is no name apparent on the exposed part of the sweatband, but wonder if there is a name underneath. The problem is the sweatband is brittle and am hesitant to flip it inside out. Any advice? Thanks.

If it is brittle i would advise against bending the liner.

What about using a small (dentist's) mirror? Just bend the sweatband a little bit so that you can see the reverse in the mirror.
