    Greetings Friends,
I picked up this visor for 55 Euros -plus shipping- from Germany on Ebay.de yesterday! And although it has some damage in the rear, it should display beautifully after some TLC...
I'm on a VERY tight budget, and as most German visors tend to be beyond my price-range, this will be a very welcome addition to my display...
    I hope you like it!
    cheers, Glenn

Thanks! Once I've restored the insignia and cord, it will look terrific in my curio-cabinet...
I was just so pleased with the price, finally something I could afford!
    cheers, Glenn

    Glenn--Is the visor plastic?

Stonemint: What about the "wasserdicht" inside of the Deckel?

    Yes, it appears rubberized.
Glenn, sorry to say, but this is a post-war Firemans cap, due to the plastic visor and rubberized lining.
Can you get your money back?

Thanks for the information...can you tell me what gives it away? Ugh...I was so sure of this one...the saddle-form especially, and the insignia imprints, along with the mothing...this looked like a sure winner to me...that's what I get for straying outside of my usual field, lol...
    cheers, Glenn
