Very nice cap!
Thanks for the feedback, always a bit unsure when buying an item for the first time. How do you protect from moth damage , this already has a couple of small nips, was thinking of display in an acrylic case. Or is there other good methods of keeping moths away.
I have dispensers with moth balls inside scattered around my war room to protect those items out in the open on display. Just enough to protect but not so much that the room smells strongly of moth balls. When storing visor caps I put small homemade dispensers in the boxes or big Rubbermaid bins that I use. I'll take a very small container like an old 35mm film roll plastic tube or a very small cardboard box, punch a bunch of holes in it and put mothballs inside. That way the naphthalene emits slowly into the storage container but is not in direct physical contact with the hats.
Very nice cap by the way.

Thanks for the advice, I’ll see if I can get moth balls and do the same.
I neglected to add that yours is the 1st visor made by Ernst Fischvoigt that I have ever seen.
They were located in Berlin. Does the logo show the exact street address?

Hope this is readable
Should be somewhere here: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikiped...1915-11-03.jpg
It appears to be Friedichstr. 127 (now the site of a Chinese restaurant!)
