    Default My new visor

I am new to collecting uniforms and hats so I bought this thinking it was an artillery NCO cap. Is that correct?

Yeah here are a couple of pic of the inside. I traded an old typewriter to a lady down the street for it. Her husband bought it in 1964 for his collection. He has long since died but it still has a tag from who gave it to him and the date. Pretty cool!

I couldn't pass it up. She has a lot more but I'm out of typewriters so I guess I'm going to have to find something else to trade She is supposed to have a Luftwaffe trumpet banner that her husband picked up from an airfield in italy. It is supposed to be yellow with the unit number on it. i have not seen it yet.

Nice! I would like to have some officers visors but the NCO caps are more my price range. i think I'll try for a Luftwaffe NCO cap next.
