Need help Fake or Real

I'm looking at selling a few of my pieces and trying to figure out their value and if they are fakes or not.

Any help would be great!

Kriegsmarine items are not really my field of collecting, but I would not dismiss this cap out of hand. I like the construstion of it. Better photos would certainly help.

When more specialized collectors say this cap is ok than I have to take back my opinion. I thought the cloth was not the correct one, but I am only collecting WH/LW and SS. If this cap is original, please enjoy this nice piece of history.

I have one that is one that was given to me by an Engineering Officer from a uboat whom I met and was friends with till he passed away a few years ago. You cap looks exactly like his (which he gave to me for my Birthday) except that his cap is as the way it came from KM store stocks as of sometime in 1944. Meaning that his was an Enlistedmans cap but was upgraded with Officers piping. Also, his cap has the aluminum Kokarde (SP?) and adler on it.

Anyway, long story short-your KM cap is a good one.
