need help identifying this hat, thanks

I found this hat in my Grandfathers attic. He said when his brother came back from ww2 he brought a bunch of stuff with him and when he passed away 20 years ago my Grandfather kept the hat and flag. I also need help identifying the flag

Are there any imprints on the flag? I'm not good with any German militaria, but that is a good start. I am sure Adrian or someone of greater knowledge can help.

Hi, and welcome to the Forum !

The flag is from the Kyffhauserbund - a Veterans association,
and the cap is a German railway 'EM' enlisted man's visor.

Thanks Blitzkrig, No I don't believe so. Also do the markings on the inside of the hat (R.B.D. Stuttgart 1937) relate to the Reichsbahndirektionen railway division?
