New find: Heer Panzer Schirmmütze

Well, I guess this would be the place to find out about this cap. A friend of mine gave it to me. I don't know anything about them, but I do know it's German!
Any other details about it? Possibly value? Looks like it's missing the dirty bird on the top. The holes are still there...

you've done well. Officer cap made by robert lubstein (EREL) of berlin. Sold through the officer sales system with the added feature of the vented cockade at the front.

It looks a good one from these photos and if the piping is pink (as it looks on my monitor) then its for Panzer troops. Value ...........look on dealers sites for a shock - minimum price £500 +

do a forum search on erel and you will see alot of these aleady posted for comparison.

The vented cockade is certainly typical for Erel.

Agreed. 100% original Erel. Pre August, 1940 make. Can't tell if piping is pink (panzer) or orange (feldgendarmerie--rare).

Nice cap, I was looking through Mr.Wilkins book yesturday and was about to say its panzer but I wasent sure. You have a nice cap....!
Its also a nice maker aswell.
